Ecuador requests A/H1N1 flu vaccines as death toll grows

Ecuador decided to request 900,000 vaccines from the Pan American Health Organization (PHO) against the A/H1N1 flu on Thursday as the death toll in the country rose from 44 to 55.

The vaccines, which were due to arrive as soon as possible, “will be given to the people with more risks and maybe to the health workers,” said Ecuadorian National Health Director Carmen Laspina.

The Ecuadorian health authorities have reported 1,650 A/H1N1 flu cases so far, including 55 deaths. The latest case was in the Galapagos Islands.

Prison Break is anchored by tight, suspenseful writing clearly relished by the largely little-known cast. Standouts include Robert Knepper as the murderer/pedophile T-Bag, who somehow makes such a despicable character likeable.
Stacey Keach of Mike Hammer fame plays the warden-with-a-heart-of-gold, who clashes with Captain Brad Bellick (Wade Williams) over whether to rehabilitate the inmates or makes their lives more miserable. uggs on sale Peter Stormare, famous for his skills with a wood chipper in Fargo, turns in a deliciously menacing performance as mob boss John Abruzzi, while Amaury Nolasco’s winsome Fernando Sucre shares a cell and secrets with Miller’s Scofield.ugg boots classic tall

Everybody Love Raymond

One of the best-loved sitcoms of its time, Everybody Loves Raymond successfully avoided the schmaltz that seems to be obligatory whenever a family with small children is depicted on a TV show. The kids were rarely seen around the household; the stories were almost always about the adults. Ray and Debra lived next-door to his parents and couldn’t do anything without them interfering. Mom Marie had a wicked habit of pointing out to Debra her flaws as a housewife and making it look like friendly advice. She always favored Ray to the annoyed amazement of his brother (Garrett), who usually would end up in situations where he was forced to live with the parents. Surprisingly funny, this show featured stellar performances by Garrett and Roberts in particular.
